V. Treadaway, a scientist at NOAA, had this to say about OCC and MICAS-X:

We used OCC’s MICAS on three different systems that have very different needs. Dave was patient and informative during the whole process to make sure we could fix minor issues if they arose. He walked through the set-up process step-by-step to make sure that we had a functioning and efficient software design that captured all of our requirements. We can now rely on our instrumental calibration and preparation processes to run automatically which saves a lot of manpower time!
